Navigating the Kumbh

It is a huge Mela with so many options to wander around, meet people and visit camps, museums, ashram etc…

Most visitors will certainly want to go to the Sangam of the three sacred rivers, the Hot Spot of the Kumbh.

About 600 meters from the camp, there is a riksha stand with e-riksha and auto-riksha taking you to the Sangam for 20 rupees per seat. Only on the major days, it will stop 1 km before the Sangam at the road block. On other days, it should be possible to get very close to the Sangam.

On the way to the Sangam, there is the Daraganj market. It is 10 rupees per seat to get there. On this market, you will find about everything you may need.

In case no direct Riksha to the Sangam is available, you can grab a seat to Daraganj and change there for the Sangam.

On the Major Bathing Days, we can also go as a group to the Sangam. This all happens quite spontaneously according to the interests of the group.

We can also call a Riksha to pick you up at the camp.
